OPEN:
Each
nine (9) racing classes offered has their own points fund according to the
number of participants at each event and reserved kart #’s monies ($5.00 for
the series) received. A huge THANKS to Zimmerman
Brothers Excavating Services, Inc. for donating $500 towards the series overall
general points fund for banquet awards.
Racers
must compete in at least 5 (five) race events to receive an award at the series
banquet.
NOTE:
Every effort will be made to keep this series on an “even racing
field;” however, race rules may vary at each racetrack.
It will be the racers responsibility to attend the mandatory driver’s
meetings to become educated on the line-up, start, re-start procedures and many
race regimens that track enforces. Ask
questions if something is unclear. Track
management reserves the right to allow or disallow a kart or driver from
competition. This is a traveling
series, designed to test racers on kart set-up and driving ability at different
track sizes and surfaces. Anyone who is disqualified at a race event will
receive zero (0) points and the D.Q. will be counted as one of the five totaled
for the championship. It is the
racer’s responsibility to listen to track announcements, view websites for
updates and/or re-scheduled dates, and phone calls to the track/race director
for additional information. Raindates,
if necessary: September 23 and/or October 14.
